Keeping Headsets Sanitized: The Pico headsets are designed to be easy to clean and hygienic for mass use. MyndVR provides training on how to properly sanitize each headset between uses by including both print instructions and video tutorials to show where it’s most important to clean and best materials to use for sanitization. MyndVR also includes alcohol wipes to ensure each care community has proper sanitizing material to get started.
How MyndVR Benefits Seniors
The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated the social isolation of seniors not only from the general public but even from the company of their loved ones. More than ever, virtual reality provides a gateway into the outside world for our aging population that is subject to increased restrictions on their physical mobility. MyndVR can reduce feelings of anxiety and depression, while providing a wide variety of immersive, entertaining experiences.
Lifting Spirits & Improving Quality of Life
"If it doesn't decrease their anxiety or depression, at the very least it gives them an enjoyable experience for half an hour and increases their quality of life."
- Kim Edwards Executive Director
The Encore at Avalon Park
"I have never seen so many seniors as joyful as they have been since experiencing this VR tour. It's incredible! Thank You! Thank you! Thank You! We love building our seniors a new future."
- Rona Barrett

"In one case, a resident living with Alzheimer’s exhibited personality traits she had prior to the diagnosis, including dancing, smiling and singing. Another resident felt relief from symptoms of Parkinson’s. The overall response has impressed everyone involved.”
