MyndVR Named Winner in 2020 Sharecare Awards Innovation Category
Dallas, Texas – October 22nd 2020 – Today, MyndVR announced its recognition as a winner in the 2020 Sharecare Awards in the category of Innovation for their submission ‘How will Virtual Reality impact the lives of older adults?’, which examines how virtual reality can impact the health and happiness of our booming population of seniors. Established by Sharecare in association with The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, New York Chapter (NY NATAS), the Sharecare Awards promote and reward excellence for the best productions and programming in health and well-being.
MyndVR is the national leader in providing virtual reality (VR) solutions for senior living communities, home health care agencies and directly to older adult consumers. As we age, we often lose contact with friends, family, and the activities that made our lives so vibrant in the past. MyndVR uses virtual reality to help older adults reconnect with loved ones, re-live old memories, and create exciting new ones.
The Sharecare Awards launched in 2018 as a first-of-its-kind awards competition that rewards excellence for the best productions and programming in health and wellness.
“We are thrilled to have received this reward in recognition of MyndVR’s commitment to older adults’ well-being,” said Chris Brickler, CEO of MyndVR. “Our goal has always been to lift the quality of life and the spirits of senior citizens across the country, and we thank Sharecare for striving to honor the people who are making a difference.”
“In today’s health environment, the impact of creative content and programming that spark awareness and action is more evident than ever,” said Donna Hill Howes, chief nursing officer and senior vice president of corporate partnerships at Sharecare. “We’re proud that this year’s Sharecare Award winners represent the industry’s most impactful productions that are making a difference.”
Past Sharecare Award recipients include prominent names in health and health media, including Marlo Thomas and Dr. Sanjay Gupta.
